ERW/CEW Boiler Tubes, Air Heater Tubes and Corten Steel Tubes
manufactured by Tata Steel
Boiler Tubes are made from heat resisting carbon and low alloy steel which can withstand the loads at various pressures and temperatures. Boiler tubes are used for parts of energy type equipments such as boilers, super heaters, economizers, heat exchangers, etc. The tubes are manufactured as hot rolled or cold drawn with welded and seamless manufacturing process. Size and grades of tubes are decided by design of the boilers which are based on the type of fuel, temperatures, pressures and also the quantum of steam required.

2-SA213T9 is a Seamless ferritic low alloy steel boiler tube used in super heater elements, and heat exchangers. The UNS Designation is K90941. SA213T9 steel can be purchased HF (hot finished) or CD (cold drawn) and shall be killed. SA213T9 has a maximum hardness of 89 HRB (Rockwell B) and is a P5B Material.
3-SA213T11 is a Seamless ferritic low alloy steel boiler tube used in super heater elements, and heat exchangers. The UNS Designation is K11597. SA213T11 steel can be purchased HF (hot finished) or CD (cold drawn) and shall be killed. SA213T11 has a maximum hardness of 85 HRB (Rockwell B) and is a P4 Material.
4-SA213T12 is a Seamless ferritic low alloy steel boiler tube used in super heater elements, and heat exchangers. The UNS Designation is K11562. Manufacture
ASTM A210 Grade A1 Seamless boiler tubes are made by the seamless process and are either hot-finished or cold-finished, as specified.
Heat Treatment
Hot-finished tubes need not be heat treated.
Cold- finished tubes shall be given a subcritical anneal, a full anneal, or a normalizing heat treatment after the final cold finishing process.

Mechanical Tests Required
(1)Tension Test—One tension test shall be made on a specimen for lots of not more than 50 tubes. Tension tests shall be made on specimens from two tubes for lots of more than 50 tubes .
(2)Flattening Test—One flattening test shall be made on specimens from each end of one finished tube from each lot.
(3)Flaring Test—One flaring test shall be made on speci- mens from each end of the one finished tube from each lot.
(4)Hardness Test—Brinell or Rockwell hardness tests shall be made on specimens from two tubes from each lot .
(5)Hydrostatic or Nondestructive Electric Test—Each tube shall be subjected to the hydrostatic,
